The 3M 425 die cut discs are manufactured from a tape that combines a 3 Mil nominal dead soft aluminum foil backing with a transparent arcylic adhesive. A good choice for masking in aluminum electroplating as it won't contaminate the bath. The aluminum backing provides excellent reflection of both heat and light.

  • Low moisture vapor transmission
  • Acrylic adhesive is long-lasting
  • Reflects both heat and light
  • Should be applied to a clean, dry surface above 32° F (0° C)
  • All die cuts 3/8" or larger come standard with a split-back liner; Split liner for smaller dimensions upon request
  • Used for a variety of applications (see spec sheet)
  • Standard and custom die cut sizes available
